What You’ll Love About Our Gas Installs

Comfort Control

Use a remote, wall switch, or thermostat to set the exact warmth you want. Optional smart/app control lets you schedule heat and adjust from the couch.

Clean & Low-Maintenance

No wood to haul, no ash to clean. Sealed systems vent safely outdoors and keep glass clear with realistic flames and glowing embers.

Efficient, Even Heat

Inserts use sealed glass and a quiet variable-speed blower to keep warm air in the room and move it gently through your space—great for living rooms and open plans.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Simon is a very efficient and pleasant worker. We have had him repair our solar tube lights , and he has installed 2 whole house fans as well. He does an amazing job and communicates exactly when he will be there. No time is wasted! We have been very happy with Tubular George Solatube service and products and would definitely recommend!

Fireplace FAQs

Do you have a fireplace showroom in Santa Barbara?

We are a local Santa Barbara fireplace company — we bring the showroom to you, with samples and catalogs at your free in-home consultation.

Gas logs vs. gas insert — what is the difference?

Gas logs are decorative and sit in your existing open fireplace. An insert is a sealed, high-efficiency unit that turns your fireplace into a real heat source and cuts drafts.

Do you sell gas fireplace accessories?

Yes — fire balls, decorative media, remote controls, and replacement parts for gas log sets. Call (805) 682-5939 for availability.

Can I convert my wood fireplace to gas?

In most Santa Barbara homes, yes — we handle the gas line, venting, code requirements, and permits. Pair it with an annual chimney sweep to keep everything safe.

Is there a rebate for replacing my wood fireplace?

Santa Barbara County’s Heat Clean Program has paid vouchers toward replacing a wood-burning fireplace with an electric insert, but new vouchers are on hold until funding returns. The County is taking waitlist applications, and we can help you join the waitlist. Gas inserts are not eligible.
