Tubular George is proud to be an approved participating installer in the official Santa Barbara County Heat Clean Program, a government-funded grant helping residents replace old wood-burning fireplaces and stoves with electric, cleaner-burning alternative

How It Works

- 1. Apply: Submit an application to Santa Barbara County with photos and documentation of your current heater.
  2. Wait for Approval: You must receive your voucher before installation can begin.
  3. Book Your Upgrade: Work with Tubular George to choose your replacement and complete the installation.
  4. Complete Within 120 Days: Installations must be finished within 4 months of voucher approval.
  5. Voucher Applied: Your discount is applied directly to the cost of installation — no reimbursement wait.

Who Qualifies for the Heat Clean Program?

To qualify, you must:
- Live in Santa Barbara County
- Have an existing wood-burning fireplace or stove
- Replace it with an electric heating device
- Work with an approved participating installer like Tubular George
